HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

Six Pillars of Our Data Handling Practice

We have structured our data practices around six concrete commitments — from how cookies work on your device to how long we keep account records after closure.

Cookie and Tracker Policy

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand which pages load slowly. You can disable non-essential cookies from the cookie banner or your browser settings at any time without losing account access.

Payment Data Isolation

UPI, Paytm and PhonePe transaction data is handled by PCI-compliant processors. We store only the last four digits of any linked payment identifier — never the full UPI VPA string or full card number on our own servers.

Account Access Security

Two-step login verification is available for every account. If an unrecognised device attempts to sign in, we send an alert to your registered mobile number immediately so you can act before any account action is taken.

Data Retention Schedule

Active account data is retained for the duration your account remains open. After closure we retain records for the period required by applicable Indian law, then delete or anonymise them within 30 days of that period expiring.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We share data only with processors who help us run the platform — payment gateways, identity-verification services and fraud-prevention tools. Each processor is bound by a data-processing agreement that mirrors this policy's protections.

How to Request Changes

Log into your account and visit the Privacy Centre, or email our privacy team directly. Correction, deletion and portability requests are processed within 14 business days; we will email you a confirmation once the action is complete.

Common Questions About Your Data on 2xko

Below are the questions we receive most often about privacy, data rights and account security. If your question is not covered here, reach out through live chat or the privacy email listed in the contact section above.

We collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth and a government ID reference for identity checks. We also log your device type, IP address and session timestamps as part of normal account-security operations.

We share your data only with third-party processors who are necessary to run the platform — such as UPI gateway providers, identity-verification services and fraud-monitoring tools. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

After account closure, we retain your records for the period required under applicable Indian law. Once that period expires, your data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete.

Yes. Log in and visit the Privacy Centre under Account Settings, or email the privacy team at 2xko.asia. We will deliver a structured copy of your data within 14 business days of verifying your identity.

Payment processing runs through PCI-compliant gateways. We store only a masked reference to your payment method — never a full UPI VPA or account number — on our own servers, so a data breach on our side cannot expose your full payment credentials.

We use essential cookies to keep your session active and optional analytics cookies to improve page performance. You can switch off non-essential cookies from the cookie banner displayed on first visit, or through your browser privacy settings, without affecting your ability to log in or transact.

Reach out to our privacy team by email or live chat — details are in the support section above. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the relevant data-protection authority in India as permitted by local law.
